Moths are split into two groups: Micro Moths and Macro Moths. Generally the Micro Moths are smaller and more primitive than the generally larger Macro Moth. As with Micro Moths where we listed Plume Moths as their own group we will be doing the same here with Macro Moths by listing the Hawk Moths on their own page..

Macro Moths are by far the largest group of moths and they will be listed here in their family groups for ease.
