A local group managing woodland on their two reserves situated on Backwell Hill. They also offer great opportunities for local people to get involved with a diverse range of activities.
Recording Wildlife
One of the most important aspects of conservation is recording what we see. Every area has an ‘Environmental Records Recording Centre’ and below i have put links for the two that cover Somerset and North Somerset (Old Avon area)
BRERC - Bristol Regional Environmental Records Centre
BRERC covers the whole of the old 'Avon Area' including North Somerset
SOMERC - Somerset Environmental Records Centre
SMERC covers Mendip, Sedgemoor, South Somerset, West Somerset and Taunton Deane areas
